Use AI. Keep responsibility.

Before you hand your work over. Before you rely on work you received. KLARMASS examines what the statements in a professional work product rest on, shows what is still open, and records how it was dealt with.

The problem: more work products, the same review time

More professional work products are produced in less time: analyses, reports, opinions, concepts, and contributions from employees, freelancers, consultancies and agencies. The time available to review them responsibly does not automatically grow with them. AI is a major reason why that gap is widening — it is not the object of the review.

The answer is not to avoid AI, and not to read every document again in full. We believe the better answer is a traceable examination of the work product itself. That expectation is not yet established; we are currently testing it with professionals.

The future belongs neither to organisations that avoid AI nor to those that trust it blindly. It belongs to those that can use AI quickly without giving up professional judgment.

What KLARMASS is

KLARMASS examines what the statements in a professional work product rest on. It shows which points still deserve attention, supports external checking of selected statements, and records how open points were handled. Methodologically this creates an evidence layer over the document — it does not rewrite your document and it does not decide for you.

What that does not mean

KLARMASS does not examine every possible issue in a document. The absence of a finding does not mean that no problem exists at that point.

Two situations where KLARMASS helps

Before you hand it over

Examine your own work product before you send, present, submit or publish it: where does it still deserve attention, and for which statements does support appear missing or limited? Selected points can be checked externally, your handling is recorded, and you receive evidence-bound feedback on the work product.

Before you rely on it

You receive a market analysis, an agency concept, an internal decision paper or an external study — from employees, colleagues, agencies, consultancies, freelancers, suppliers or partners. Before you rely on it, KLARMASS shows which statements deserve attention, what they rest on, and where evidence is missing, limited or unresolved. You can inspect the supporting sources, document your handling, and involve an independent reviewer.

The object of assurance is the work product

How the work product came about does not matter — written by people alone, with AI assistance, largely by AI, or through a mixed process. What matters is what the work product actually evidences. KLARMASS does not detect AI-written text and assesses neither an AI model nor the person who created a document.

The process in short

  1. Work product

The document you are about to use.

  2. Checkable claim

Statements that can be checked outside the document.

  3. Evidence

What the document itself rests on.

  4. Verification

What a retrieved source actually says.

  5. Resolve / decision

One recorded step per open point.

  6. Human review

A second person reviews and decides.

  1. 01

    Inspect

KLARMASS identifies checkable claims and records what the document offers as support — and what is missing.

  2. 02

    Verify externally

Selected claims are checked against retrieved sources. This is selective and bounded: not every claim is verified externally, and a source that cannot be reached leaves the verification open.

  3. 03

    Resolve

You decide per open point: add a source, adjust the wording, mark it as an assumption, or accept it consciously.

  4. 04

    Decide

A brief shows first what still requires your attention; every entry traces back to the original location and the inspection run.

  5. 05

    Independent review

A second person reviews and decides. Maker and checker stay separate; the person who created the work product cannot approve it.

  6. 06

    Feedback

The same records produce feedback on the work product — not on the person who created it.

A deliberate limitation

KLARMASS does not score truth. It establishes evidence status. It does not state that a claim is true or false, and it produces no confidence, trust or probability percentages.

From document to decision

Illustration with synthetic content. No real document, no real assessment.

01 · Claim in the document

“The measure reduces cost by 12 %.”

02 · Evidence

The cited source states 12 % for a different period.

03 · Next step

Clarify the period or adjust the claim.

The Action Status: what to do, not what is true

Every claim and every document carries an Action Status. It answers one question only: what still needs to be done before this work product is used?

What the action status means

  • Green

Nothing blocks you here right now.

  • Yellow

Something is open, but it is not material on its own.

  • Orange

A material point is unresolved. Handle it before you send this out.

  • Red

Do not release this as it stands.

The action status describes what to do next. It is not a statement that a claim is true or false.

The Action Status shows what still needs to be done. It does not say whether a statement is true or false.

What remains after you have worked with it

KLARMASS is not merely a defect list. It records the evidence status per claim, the provenance of the sources used, the open points, the human decision on their materiality, the resolution of each point and — where used — the independent review, each with author and timestamp. For every examined work product, a traceable record can therefore exist in KLARMASS.

That record lives inside KLARMASS. There is no export as a standalone assurance report today, and it is neither compliance evidence nor a certification.

What this means for your organisation

Creators

Can examine their work product before handover, address open evidence-related points before the work enters the next decision stage, and receive feedback that refers to the work product — not to the person.

Decision-makers and reviewers

Can examine received work through the same structured process, see the open and material points, record their handling, and involve an independent review.

Organisation

For every examined work product a traceable record can exist in KLARMASS; responsibility and review steps stay attributable. Work products are assessed, not employees. Whether this becomes an organisation-wide quality process is something we are currently testing with design partners.

Who KLARMASS is for

Executives and management

Decisions taken on an AI-assisted basis remain attributable and documented.

Strategy teams and analysts

See which figures rest on a source, which on a derivation, and which on an assumption.

Consultants

Deliver client-facing work whose evidence situation is transparent before it leaves the house.

Legal and compliance teams

Identify statements that assert a legal consequence without support in the document.

Regulated sectors, including healthcare

Keep human oversight visible where the subject matter is consequential.

Public-sector decision makers

Document what a recommendation is based on, and what remained open.

Internal and external contributions

Assess work products from employees, freelancers, consultancies and agencies against the same standard.

Terms used on this site

Evidence status
What a statement in the document rests on and how far that support carries — never a statement that it is correct.
Provenance
Where a passage, a source or a decision came from, with its position in the original document.
Resolve
The human decision on an open point: add a source, adjust the wording, mark it as an assumption, or accept it consciously.
Action Status
Shows what still needs to be done before use. Not a truth, quality or confidence value.
Work Product Assurance
Examination of the work product itself, independent of how it was created and who created it.

European requirements shape how AI-assisted work is defended

AI literacy, transparency, human oversight, data protection and documentation duties all point in the same direction: a professional must be able to say what a statement rests on. The risk hub sets out that context, as information and not as legal advice.

What we can evidence today

No public trust statement has been released yet. Anything not listed here is not verified.

Not verified means: we have no evidence for it, so we do not claim it.
